The No-Fault heater was first introduced by Watkins Manufacturing in 1995, with the name reflecting the fact that poor water chemistry maintenance would no longer be a cause to void the heater warranty. The second version of the No Fault heater was released in 1997, and stayed in use on production Spas until late 2003. No-Fault heater version three was brought into play in the Tiger River spa range, with some dealerships using it to replace the heaters in both HotSpring and Tiger River hot tubs.
