The Atlantis Freestyle model is designed to be a less expensive entry to swimming pool ownership, and also cater for locations where power supply may be a problem. This Freestyle model is based on the standard Atlantis pool, and includes everything except the counter-current. This saves money, power and running costs, but it does not impact on the pool's basic requirement to swim.
The Freestyle model includes the Super Swim Pro swimrod. This device is like a fishing pole, which is anchored at 45 degrees to the back of the swimmer, and connected by a strong line to a Velcro belt that the swimmer attaches to their waist. The result is an awesome swim experience, where you can swim as hard or slow as you like in any style, and the swimrod will keep you gently positioned in the centre of the pool.
The Super Swim Pro swimrod has sufficient flexibility to allow the swimmer to swim hard, and after each stroke it gently pulls you back into place. Many professional swimmers use the Swim Pro swimrod, and prefer it to just swimming lengths, or swimming against a counter current.
The Freestyle models can be used year round, like all of our pools, and come complete with 100mm full foam insulation and 90mm thermal cover. At 1.50m deep, this is also a great depth to do your aquarobics and all manner of mobility exercises.
If you compare the price of the Freestyle to a conventional pool, you will soon see that it is great value. If one day you no longer need it, you can sell it, and above all you can use it 12 months a year, as opposed to a conventional pool where 3-4 months a year is the most you can expect. Lastly, the Freestyle pools keep themselves very clean. The covers stop leaves and rubbish getting into the pool, and the skimmers sweep flies and leaves neatly away in to the filters. No conventional pool is as easy to own.

Hercules™ Thermosteel Cover Upgrade
If you're considering sinking or semi-sinking your Riptide pool, you may wish to consider upgrading to the new Hercules™ Thermosteel cover. The cover has a stainless steel ladder frame, inserted into the oversized polystyrene core, to give the cover additional strength and heat-retentive properties. The cover increases from 70mm to 90mm thick, helping it to withstand weights of up to 300kg - this means it will easily handle family members walking across the surface of the swim spa when covered. Hercules covers are 7cm on one side, and 9cm on the other, which helps rainwater run off, rather than letting it puddle on the cover or seep through into the spa.
The folding, two piece cover which comes complete with the Atlantis Freestyle is secured with childproof, adjustable, lockable straps along all four sides, and can be enhanced with a Cover Basket lifting device which enables easy and wear-free removal of the cover.
Optional Music System
A worthwhile investment can be to include the optional iPod dock and swim spa music system. The system includes four, hydraulic popup speakers (pictured right) and an integrated, waterproof iPod dock. Also fitted to the spa frame is a substantial sub-woofer, which helps bring your music to life, and provides excellent sound levels which should even be suitable for a garden party.
The weatherproof, UV stable exterior panelling is designed with both vertical and horizontal slats, to make a more interesting cabinet. The panels are attached using stainless steel fittings, and each cabinet is complimented by the inclusion of a contrasting heavy-duty vinyl cover.

Easy to Maintain Filters
The Atlantis Freestyle is fitted with a 2x100 square foot, top-loading filter system and integrated weir, which captures larger floating debris before it reaches the filter itself, along with a Corona discharge Ozone system. Unlike many spas on the market, Riptide filter housings are simple to take apart for cleaning, and to remove the filters for their regular maintenance and replacement.
Stainless Support Rails
A single stainless steel support rail is supplied as standard, above the jets, on all Swim Spas except Nautilus and Atlantis. To provide additional support for aerobic exercise in your pool, you may wish to add extra rails, which may be fitted to the left or right side. In the case of the Atlantis and Nautilus pools, we have available a set of three bars, which provides support rails for both the sides and counter-current end of the spa.
Swimming Pool Bike
Our Swimming Pool Bike offers a unique means of exercise, allowing you to cycle in the low impact environment of your Riptide Pool's water.
The bike is constructed entirely from Nylon and ABS Fibreglass, meaning it's guaranteed to never rust, even when used in salt water spas. The patented Pool Bike features a four paddle system which is fully adjustable, allowing you to vary the workout intensity according to your needs and desires.
Humpback Cover System
Introducing the Humpback Cover System, which is available as an upgrade on all Riptide pools. Specially designed with a rise in the middle of the cover, rain water falls away, greatly reducing water ingress and staining to the cover material. The Humpback Cover comes in 4 colours to match the existing colour options in the Riptide swim spa range, and can be ordered from new, or retrofitted to existing pools if required. The Humpback Cover also has added thickness for improved insulation.
Step Options
We offer a variety of options for colour-matched steps based upon your needs, from the simple and stylish DuraSteps, to the fantastic SwimSpa 4xL steps (pictured right) which come equipped with double handrails and non-slip, extra deep depth top step for safety.
