The Hydros swimspa is our new baby pool and spa combined. This is definitely not an entry level spa it is a fully functioning incredibly well specified swim spa. The only difference is its proportions.
The Hydros has been designed for the family with young children. It's been created to allow the kids to splash about at the jets end whilst leaving plenty of space between the kids and the adults relaxing in the spa end.
The Hydros has 4 powerful pumps that can either be directed to the swim jets or diverted to the spa end or adjusted half and half.
We find most of our Hydros owners run the pool hot like a hot tub and use the spa end 70% against the pool end 30% The Hydros is the perfect pool for your youngsters to learn to swim in. Because of its compact dimensions it's still possible to deliver just like a hot tub. It will sit virtually on the same space as a hot tub, but has such a versatile nature you're going to find it everything from that special place to relax, a great place to swim; even the oldies will love the weightless exercising walking against the fully adjustable counter currents. At this price this is a huge amount of fun for your money.
Hercules™ Thermosteel Cover Upgrade
If you're considering sinking or semi-sinking your Riptide pool, you may wish to consider upgrading to the new Hercules™ Thermosteel cover. The cover has a stainless steel ladder frame, inserted into the oversized polystyrene core, to give the cover additional strength and heat-rententive properties. The cover increases from 70mm to 90mm thick, helping it to withstand weights of up to 300kg - this means it will easily handle family members walking across the surface of the swim spa when covered.
