The Poseidon is a genuine swim and spa, two volumes of water ensure that the spa is hot and the swim end is at a lower temperature suitable to swim in. If you have the space this is a superb aquatic leisure centre. The Poseidon spa end is perfect for up to 5 adults. Powerful hydrotherapy jets water fall Led lighting and waters edge lights optional ipod ready music system and ice bucket to keep the wine cold. The swim end is based on our Neptune model, 4 powerful independently controllable jets, plenty of swim space and rest seats if you're working out with some friends. The Poseidon is beautifully made to our exact specifications, with many engineering tweaks you would not notice on the surface, but each difference adds up to more fun less worry. The Poseidon is insulated with 2lb closed cell foam insulation and heatlock system. The three piece cover is made from 2lb foam cores which are double wrapped in ozone resistant polythene and encased in a superb marine grade vinyl cover. All this makes the Poseidon a very economical swim spa to own.
Hercules™ Thermosteel Cover Upgrade
If you're considering sinking or semi-sinking your Riptide pool, you may wish to consider upgrading to the new Hercules™ Thermosteel cover. The cover has a stainless steel ladder frame, inserted into the oversized polystyrene core, to give the cover additional strength and heat-retentive properties. The cover increases from the standard 70mm to 90mm thick, helping it to withstand weights of up to 300kg - this means it will easily handle family members walking across the surface of the swim spa when covered. Hercules covers are 7cm on one side, and 9cm on the other, which helps rainwater run off, rather than letting it puddle on the cover or seep through into the spa.
The Poseidon swim spa comes equipped with two relaxing waterfalls, which are backlit and individually controllable.

The folding, three piece cover which comes complete with the Poseidon is secured with adjustable, childproof lockable straps along all four sides.
To enhance your spa experience, the Poseidon includes an aromatherapy system which takes two cartridges, available in a variety of scents, including Sandalwood Spice, Summer Orchid, Lavender, Evening Musk, Wildflowers, Peach Passion, Pina Colada, Citrus Sorbet and Eucalyptus.
The Poseidon features a four pump, six jet counter-current - the top two jets are each individually powered by their own pumps, to give maximum swim resistance, whilst the second and third pairs of jets each share a pump respectively. The lowermost pair of jets are specifically designed to give the swimmer buoyancy. All the jets in the spa have stainless steel escutcheons, and have air control.
Optional Extras
A worthwhile investment would be to include the iPod dock and swim spa music system. The system includes four, hydraulic popup speakers (pictured right) and an integrated, waterproof iPod dock. Also fitted to the swim spa frame is a substantial sub-woofer, which helps bring your music to life, and provides excellent sound levels which should even be suitable for a garden party.
Each Riptide Swim Spa is supplied complete with pillows to match the shell and skirt combination selected, helping to provide comfortable seating for bathers at the spa end.
The weatherproof, UV stable exterior panelling is designed with both vertical and horizontal slats, to make a more interesting cabinet. The panels are attached using stainless steel fittings, and each cabinet is complimented by the inclusion of a contrasting heavy-duty vinyl cover.

Easy to Maintain Filters
The Poseidon is fitted with a 2 x 100 square foot, top-loading filter system and two integrated weirs, which capture larger floating debris before it reaches the filters themselves. Unlike many spas on the market, Riptide filter housings are simple to take apart for cleaning, and to remove the filters for their regular maintenance and replacement.
Stainless Support Rails
A single stainless steel support rail is supplied as standard, above the jets, on all Swim Spas except Nautilus and Atlantis. To provide additional support for aerobic exercise in your pool, you may wish to add extra rails, which may be fitted to the left or right side. In the case of the Atlantis and Nautilus pools, we have available a set of three bars, which provides support rails for both the sides and counter-current end of the spa.
Swimming Pool Bike
Our Swimming Pool Bike offers a unique means of exercise, allowing you to cycle in the low impact environment of your Riptide Pool's water.
The bike is constructed entirely from Nylon and ABS Fibreglass, meaning it's guaranteed to never rust, even when used in salt water spas. The patented Pool Bike features a four paddle system which is fully adjustable, allowing you to vary the workout intensity according to your needs and desires.
Step Options
We offer a variety of options for colour-matched steps based upon your needs, from the simple and stylish DuraSteps, to the fantastic SwimSpa 4xL steps (pictured right) which come equipped with double handrails and non-slip, extra deep depth top step for safety.
